Aplicatec Reparación Steel is a heat-welded galvanized steel fiber mesh which, combined with our APLICATEC REPARACIÓN range of repair mortars, 4 provides excellent mechanical and durability properties to the treated system.
It is a mesh especially indicated for structural reinforcement
of all types of elements that improve and reinforce the anti-seismic properties of the treated area.
aplicaTec Reparación Steel
1. The support will be treated and prepared as defined in the previous section.
2. In the case of metallic elements with ongoing oxidation processes, our product Aplicatec Armaduras will be applied, as it appears in the material's technical data sheet.
3. Next, a first layer of the repair mortar selected from our Aplicatec Reparación range will be spread in the appropriate thickness for each work situation.
4. Once the designated repair mortar has been applied, the Aplicatec Reparación Steel mesh will be placed on the chosen surface.
5. The mesh will be pressed with a stainless steel trowel until it is completely covered by the applied mortar. This step will be performed as many times as necessary.
6. Once finished, a second layer of the initially used mortar will be applied until the treated element is completely regularized.
• Do not apply the product at temperatures below 5oC or above 35oC.
• Do not apply in anticipation of rain or frost.
• The absorbent supports will become wet to saturation but without puddling.
Aplicatec Reparación Steel comes in 25m rolls, in heights of 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 cm.
