CO2LESS Capagel FLEX COMPACT

CO2LESS Capagel Flex Compact is a next generation, high-performance, high-adhesion C2TE gel adhesive whose reduced slip and extended open time provide excellent final performance. The GEL technology composition, based on geopolymers and new technology fibres, gives it excellent mechanical properties as well as high thixotropy. All the performance with maximum care for the environment, thanks to its low carbon.

How to use

1. Mix mechanically with clean water (7.2 - 7.4 L)
until a homogeneous and workableconsistency is obtained.
2. Allow the mixed adhesive to stand for 5 minutes and remix before application.
3. Spread the paste onto the substrate in areas no larger than 2 metres, combing it with the appropriate notched trowel. Follow the instructions for use set out in the UNE-EN 138002 table.
4. Place the ceramic tiles onto the fresh gel adhesive, pressing them gently until full contact with the entire surface is achieved, flattening the ridges.
5. For treating joints between tiles, both indoors and outdoors, as well as perimeter and structural joints, follow the instructions for use set out in the tables of the UNE-EN 138002 standard.

Precautions and recommendations

Do not apply on weak or poorly cohesive substrates.
Do not apply at temperatures below 5 ºC or above 45 ºC.
Do not apply when there is a risk of frost or in rainy weather.
In extreme weather conditions, such as wind and high temperatures, drying occurs faster than normal, reducing the open application time.
In the event of high temperatures, wind and highly absorbent substrates, it is advisable to dampen the substrate and wait until the water film has disappeared before applying the material.
Check periodically that no surface film has formed on the adhesive; if so, it would be necessary to comb it again or remove it, and reapply the product.
Check the tackiness of the paste by periodically lifting a placed tile and ensuring that it is properly bonded.
Apply the product following the instructions set out in the UNE-EN 138002 installation standard and in accordance with the instructions given in the technical data sheet. For any queries, consult the Technical Department.
Use within 1 year from the packaging date and store in its original packaging in a covered, dry place, protected from moisture.

Presentation

CO2LESS Capagel Flex Compact represents a full commitment to the environment. Its packaging completely eliminates plastic thanks to its double layer of perforated paper, which ensures breathability and facilitates full recycling. It is also supplied in a convenient 20 kg package that makes handling easier and reduces the risk of injuries caused by lifting loads.

Packaging with certified recyclability. Recyclability test carried out by ITENE in accordance with UNE-EN 13430, obtaining the A Grade classification under Regulation (EU) 2025/40.

Supports

Substrates must be fully set and clean of dust, paint and oil. The product may be used on
plasterboard substrates or on conventional substrates such as renders and concrete floors, as well as on aerated concrete. For applications on gypsum-, plaster- or anhydrite-based substrates, first use our APLICA PRIMER TOP bonding primer. If used on substrates or with tiles not defined in the material’s technical data sheet, consult the Technical Department.
