CAPA EPO CLEAN is an acid-based chemical cleaner, specially formulated with a combination of carefully selected acids, being the ideal product for the elimination of epoxy resins, cement residues, limescale, oxide residues and other dirt.

Instructions for use

It is advisable to reduce the amount of water in the system as much as possible before starting the disinncrustation process.

It is recommended to work in recirculation regime, but also to perform a desincrustation in static regime.

It is important to carry out a good rinse once the cleaning has been completed and not to leave any product residue.

Account should be taken of the possibility that the treated metal surface may be pitted, in which case the cleaning must not be carried out in depth. In the case of soft metals, a pre-application study should be carried out, both in product concentration and at exposure times.

It is used dissolved in water, depending on its dosage of the application to be performed and will depend on the severity of the problem to be eliminated, taking into account that in no case should it exceed 25% of the product.

It is not fuel and allows heating to accelerate its action, up to temperatures not exceeding 70 oC. Once the chemical cleaning has been carried out, it is necessary to carry out a good rinse with abundant water in order to remove any traces of dirt and product, especially in drinking water supply pipes.

It is also appropriate to carry out pH checks to reduce the useful punishment of the installation so that the treatment is limited to the minimum time required. Homogenize before use by shaking the bottle.

Warnings and recommendations

Product of acidic nature. R34: Causes burns. R37: Irritating to respiratory system. S26: In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. S36/37/39: Wear suitable protective clothing and gloves and eye and face protection. S45: In case of accident or discomfort, see a doctor immediately (if possible, show him the label). S46: If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the label. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. DO NOT EAT. In the case of soft metals it is advisable to carry out tests. Store in a dry and cool place away from sources of light and heat.

Technical Features

The main technical features are:

• Appearance: dark violet fluid liquid. • Smell: Characteristic of acid.
• pH: 1 ± 0.5
• Density: 1.21 ± 0.10 gr / ml.

• Solubility: totally soluble in water.

CAPA EPO CLEAN Is presented in 1 litre package, with a preservation of 12 months, under normal conditions of temperature and humidity.

Applications

Eliminates the remains of epoxy resins adhered on floors and walls. Due to its cleaning action it eliminates with high efficiency the remains of residues and stains on ceramic surfaces, porcelain tiles and vitreous mosaic.

It is recommended to do a previous test.

On marble and natural stones a preliminary test is required to use the product. Its use is also indicating in the descaling of salts in water conduction facilities.

Eliminates limescale that forms in boiler tubes, heat exchangers, water pipes, industrial washing machines, condensers, cooling towers, both electric and gas water heaters. It also acts by eliminating rust on metal surfaces that must be subsequently protected.

Thanks to the inclusion in its composition of surfactants, passivating agents and corrosion inhibitors, it can be used on ferrous metal surfaces and steels, without being compromised by possible chemical attacks during cleaning. Within the construction removes annoying cement remains in the cleaning of concrete mixers, formwork sheets and floors belonging to recently built buildings.

 

It is an acid product suitable for use in food industry.
